My settlement lasted 5 minutes. It was beautiful.
There was a giant lava pit in the middle of the map. I started mining on the side of the map when I saw that a dwarf was interrupted by a Fire Man. I look to the magma, and the entire countryside was on fire. The smoke and fire spread and consumed everything in its path. Every dwarf died.
Total time: 5 minutes. My new record.

I had land I claimed which was by the way sinister mountains mixed with regular woodland. I brought military dwarves because I knew I would need them. Zombie birds killed my war dogs which then turned into zombie war dogs which killed surround un-zombified large felines. Who as a result killed my seven dwarves. All within seconds.
